Pole Dance Basics
The Fall session will once again be taught by Lori (in the green top), while Susan (in the blue) continues to recover from hip surgery.

A complete pole dancing class for the beginner, or for those who have taken an introductory level class but would like a refresher.
The focus in on fun and safety, building strength and flexibility with style and grace, and of course...lots of great moves!
Every class will include a warm up, a pole fitness exercise to help you tone up and build strength, new moves and tricks each week, plus practice time with individual attention and coaching.
Of course we'll be putting everything together as we build a yummy dance routine with the moves we'll be learning!
Class is done in bare feet. Please wear comfy clothing (shorts or long pants) and bring water to drink. A top with a t-bar back is ideal to prevent "pole burn." You can check out our online boutique to see some great pole fitness tops, or see what we have on display in the studio!

Mom & Baby Zumba
Bring your baby and get back in shape along with other new moms. You'll enjoy a fun dance-based aerobic workout, as well as learning bodyweight exercise with baby that you can easily do at home.
A relaxing stretch and post-workout social time round out your morning.
6 classes, 1 hour each:

Pole Jam Drop In
Our Pole Jam sessions allow you to take off your training wheels and really start to explore pole dancing at your own pace.
Although an instructor MAY be present at times, this is primarily unsupervised drop in time.
Learn from others as you share what you know, pick up new tips, and enjoy this self-directed learning opportunity in a fun & casual environment.
You can also use this time to work out on the poles, work up some new choreography, or just work yourself into a sweat!
For your own safety, you MUST have completed at least Pole Basics or equivalent in order to drop in to Pole Jam.
Bare feet preferred, but you may wear clean shoes if you like. Dress comfortably according to your level (shorts for pole climbs and poses) and bring water to drink.
Drop ins:
Friday evenings 6:30 - 8:00 pm
Saturday afternoons 1:30 - 3:00 pm

Hoop It Up!
Build and decorate your own custom fitness hoop at the first session, then enjoy 8 weeks of fitness hooping and put it to good use!
Learn the basics, some simple tricks, even a few fancy steps, as you hoop your way into shape. An excellent core workout, and amazing cardio...come join the fun!

This class takes place at Beban Park and is offered in partnership with Nanaimo Parks, Recreation and Culture. To register, please call 250-756-5200 or visit the City's website and register online.
Pole Dance Intermediate

For those who've completed Pole Dance Basics, or the equivalent, this is the next step. Improve your strength, flexibility, and confidence even further while learning new moves, spins and tricks.
You'll benefit from lots of personal attention and coaching so you can start to develop your own personal pole style as you get stronger and fitter.
Class is done in bare feet. Please wear comfy clothing (shorts required for climbs and inversions) and bring water to drink. A top with a t-bar back is ideal to prevent "pole burn." You can check out our online boutique to see some great pole fitness clothing.
Cost will vary depending on workshop length.

Tribal Bellydance Fusion

Tribal bellydance is an easier to learn style that can be enjoyed by all ages and levels, no previous experience needed!
Combined with a yoga warm up & cool down, plus body isolation techniques, this class provides an enjoyable, well-rounded workout.
6 classes, 1 hour each:

Butts & Guts
Not offered this session
One hour totally dedicated to strengthening and toning the core and glutes. A perfect compliment to our pole dancing classes, or any cardio focused class.
Best for a moderate to advanced fitness level. This is a non-cardio class but appropriate exercise footwear and clothing are recommended. Come prepared to sweat and tone!

Exotic Dance Fitness

Susan's original and oh-so-popular sexy fitness class!
We'll warm up with attitude, have fun with a flirty cardio routine, then move into some slow and sultry strength exercises that will have you sweating buckets while you tone those muscles.
We'll finish by working on a short dance routine each week, then wrap it all up with a delicious flexibility stretch before sending you home relaxed and ready for a good night's sleep.
Class is done in bare feet. Please wear comfy clothing, and bring a mat and water to drink.

Payment and Cancellation Policy
All classes must be paid in advance to reserve your spot. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, or online via Paypal (credit and debit payments accepted). Unfortunately we cannot hold unpaid spots. NSF cheques will incur a $25 fee.
Should we need to cancel your class(es) for any reason, we will notify you and issue a full refund.
If you need to cancel your registration prior to the start of the session, just email. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice we'll credit your account for a future class, unless we can fill your spot from the wait list. If you provide more than 24 hours notice we'll issue a full refund.
Please understand that your registraiton reserves a spot for you in your session, whether or not you choose to attend all classes. We cannot offer refunds for classes not attended.
